A Season of Stewardship

I've always believed that life is made up of seasons.

Some seasons ask us to grow something new, while others ask us to tend well to the things we've already been given. More often than not, I think we're called to do a little of both.

I've learned that a meaningful life isn't built by doing everything. It's built by tending well to the things we've been entrusted with. For me, one of those things has always been teaching, so I've chosen to return to the classroom while continuing to steward Ithica Beef in the intentional way we've believed in from the start.

This Wednesday, will be my first official day back.. It's a decision I've made thoughtfully, prayerfully, and with a great deal of excitement for what's ahead.

Over the last several years, I've been blessed to watch Ithica Beef grow into something more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. What began as raising cattle has become helping families gather around the table, care for the people they love, and create meaningful moments in the midst of busy lives.

I've also come to realize that returning to the classroom and stewarding this little farm aren't two separate stories at all. At their heart, they're both about caring for people.

Whether it's a classroom full of students or a freezer full of ground beef waiting to become Tuesday night's tacos, I've learned that the work that matters most is often found in the ordinary moments.

And while this season may look a little different, one thing won't change—my gratitude for each of you.

Thank you for every order placed, every kind word shared, and every seat you've given us at your family's table. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your everyday moments and your special celebrations alike.

It is a privilege I don't ever want to take for granted.

Here's to new seasons, meaningful work, and tending well to the things we've been entrusted with.

With gratitude,

❤️ Regina
