We’re Really Glad You’re Here

With every passing day I can’t help but notice that I am much further down the road than many of the people I cross paths with, and you know what? I don’t take that lightly.

I truly believe it comes with a certain amount of responsibility. It falls into the, “to whom much is given, much is expected” category. I’ve been given almost 57 years, and I’ve learned a little along the way. Who am I to keep it all to myself?

I don’t know about you, but it feels as though I am CONSTANTLY searching for, making choices, and asking for suggestions for just about everything under the sun.

At times I become so overwhelmed with all the choices, I end up doing nothing. Everybody has an opinion, and they are all different, so I decided to rework our website to reflect our pick up shop at the farm.

Many of you have heard me say, in addition to our beef, Beef & Things is a random collection of our favorite things, and now I can say the same thing about our website!

I have added shipping options, chosen brands that I purchase, items that I use regularly, and producers who share the same values as we do and dropped them all into buckets on our site. Don’t worry, farm pick ups wont change a bit!

Not that I have all the answers or always make the right choices, it’s just that, if we like these things, we probably aren”t the only ones. I hope to add items as we find and like different things. We’ll just see how it all plays out.

Our little community has grown so much, and many of us are very similar. Our lifestyles are reflective of one another, not to mention, I really do love to share with you guys.

We call it pouring into each other, filling one another’s buckets, I guess you could say. Our territory has expanded as the years have passed, and we truly couldn’t be happier.
